Given that I cannot help myself and having had a number of requests from various people, I have again posted another picture of Laura.

Laura is about a week old on this photo, but already I think she must have her mothers good looks… (I’m a little bias here don’t you reckon!!!)

Well, what can I say, gee time flies.

Laura is now two weeks old and already she has changed so many times it is hard to keep up. It is hard to really tell what colour her eyes are, as you all know that most babies are born with blue eyes, but they change. Well one minute we think they might be turning brown, like her Mum’s, but other times they look a little bluey-green like her Dad’s.

Being a modest Dad (not!!!!  ), I can’t believe how much she can do for a 2 week old!!! For instance:

• By the time she was 1-2 days old, she was already lifting her head off people’s shoulders to have a look around.

• In less than a week, when placed on her back, she would roll to her side so that she could look out the window.

• The other night (at less than two weeks old), she was crying for a feed, I was lying down with her on the bed and she literally crawled up my shirt looking for a feed!

I find the things she can do already simply amazing and it is great to watch her grow.

As always, I cannot help myself and I have attached another picture of Laura, this photo was taken last night when I was giving her a bath.

Well, as always I will try and keep you all posted with all the updates on Laura and also hope to display how the house renovations are going as well.

I have had requests about Laura’s weight and size at birth. So here is all the details you might want

* Weight: 8 pounds 7
* Length: 51 cm
* Date of Birth 11:10pm on Wednesday the 15th of September

Uncle Dan and Uncle Shane are catching up with some cuddles – they’re treating their niece like a fragile china doll at the moment, but they can’t wait until she’s old enough to starting playing!

Laura loves jumpsuits that allow her to stretch out on her playmat! This little sleeping beauty could hang out and roll around on the floor quite contently all day!

The new digital camera is being put to good use!!! Jason thought he’d try out the black and white photo option and here’s a sample of the results… isn’t she a cutie (excuse our bias)!

Here’s a piccie of Chrissy and Laura on Day Two. Chrissy’s loving being a new Mum. It’s one of the most awesome and rewarding experiences ever…

Here’s a shot of us all a couple of days after Laura was born. We are all very happy and excited to have her here!

The proud Grandparents couldn’t wait to visit the new addition to the family.

For those who don’t already know, Laura Lee Bell was born Wednesday (15-9-04).

Both Mum and Bub are doing well.

Jason and Chrissy,

This is a little ‘baby born’ gift for you both. All of us in the honours room have been telling Jason for a while that he needs to setup a blog where he can write about all the renovations you are both doing and post all the photos he emails us all every few weeks.

Now that bub is almost here, we thought it would be the ideal ‘bub being born’ gift so that you can both blog about whats been going on with bub and the renos and everything else. You can even post pictures for all us loyal readers to look at.

Jason can no longer say he is too busy to set one up, cause its all done for him. Never again do you have to worry about emailing pictures out to everyone, just post them on the blog and give everyone the URL – easy

So yeah, We all hope you enjoy it and use it a lot. We all want to know whats going on and see cool pictures of bub and the renos and whatever else you feel like putting on there.

Everyone else has written their own message below, if we can work this then anyone can.

Ill stop babling now, have a play, hope you like it, and i hope you get a lot of use out of it.

Remember cleaning is easy. Pegs, a clothesline, and use the garden hose. You can do the nappies that was too.

blog how you are feeling. *how tired you are*
blog bub’s recent achievements. *hitting sixes at age 3 months*
blog frustrations. *bub peed on me whilst nappies were being changed three times in a row! dirtied three perfectly clean shirts. DO BABIES HAVE THAT MUCH PEE?!?!?*

but most of all, blog cuz it’s fun.
good or bad, every memory will become dear to you, and there will be lots!
